The Sorcerer is a master over the elements of the world.  They are a subclass of the Mage archetype, and over their many quests they receive a wide variety of spells that both help them bind and damage their foes.

Sorcerers can freeze, shatter and burn their opponents.  They are meant to be long-range fighters, as an enemy's attacks make it difficult for them to cast.  They need high Concentration for their spell casting, so this is an important stat for them.  Sorcerers wield Orbs or Magical Tomes as their weapons, which will buff their spell casting stats as well as other character attributes.  Orbs can be used as physical weapons in the most dire of circumstances, but Tomes cannot.  

<a href="http://www.lotrmmorpg.com/aion/">Aion Sorcerers</a> receive passive skills that buff their Concentration, Mana Regeneration, Mana Capacity, and Magical Damage.  These buffs increase with each level that is gained.  Their spell set consists of many, varied elemental damage spells and various binding and stunning spells.  Sorcerers can cast damage spells such as Fire Arrow, Chains of Ice, or Deep Ocean to damage foes, or Cripple to slow down their movement.  They also have a wide array of instant cast, damage over time spells like Erosion and Mist of Soul.  To help them keep their mana stores up, they can also instant cast the Holy Command spell to regenerate 75% of their total available mana points.  Of course, all of these abilities and spells can change since as of right now the game is unreleased, but this is just some information from both the Beta and the Korean versions of the game to help gamers figure out the talents of the Sorcerer class.

Aion does not grant players the ability to create custom builds for their characters.  All the aspect points are leveled automatically for them once their character Ascends and they choose an advanced character class.  Stigmas can be used to add some custom skills and attributes to the Sorcerer if the player wishes, but very little information on Sorcerer stigmas is available at this time.  However, there will probably be Stigmas that increase the damage of some of the Sorcerer’s spells, as well as Stigmas to reduce the casting cool downs on spells.

The <a href="http://aidong.notlong.com/">Sorcerer</a> is the typical character that slings powerful spells at their enemies from afar.  Their damage is high and their defense is low, and they are useful in group settings because between their Ice spells and their various cripple and stun spells they can kite and keep any enemies at bay.  Players will enjoy the death and destruction they can deal out, especially if they have a friend playing a high defense class to level with so they never have to worry about being at a less than optimal damage range or taking any damage.
